Are you planning for your vacation with your loved ones and planning to live in a hotel or motel. Then beware of the bed bugs which can be your nightmare in your planned vacations. United States of America might have eradicated bed bugs from their soil after World War I, but these little creatures are making a comeback. We all now on regular work i .e Kill Bed Bugs.

These species still exist in Europe, Asia and in Africa. So people traveling to these continents should be particularly aware of these bed bugs. People are directed to carry parasites or non-gel anti spray while they migrate or travel to these areas. Bed bugs are not uncommon in the hotel business. Because this is the best place for bed bugs transmission. If they creep into one room then it is usual for them to creep to other neighbor rooms and make a colony for them to survive. People who stay in the hotel bedrooms are the one who bring these creatures to household with their luggage. It is common that in these hotels the migrants or travelers stay and unpack their luggage, where these bed bugs creep into the luggage of travelers, which are unnoticeable.

People have a wrong concept that bed bugs exist only in the hotels, which are situated in filthy places. And they don’t exist in a good star hotel. These creatures are attracted to carbon monoxide which human exhale. So, these bed bugs actually exist everywhere near human, as human are the host for these creatures for the blood. Hence the bed bugs even exist in a good star hotel.

These hotel bed bugs are in brown reddish or creamy white color and are in oval shape. These bugs are in very small size. But when they suck the human blood they full out like a balloon and are then visible in human blood color. Normally they are flat, which allow them to creep in the beds or in small holes. A small crack or hole can harbor these bed bugs. They hide in these so that they are not visible and are not killed. Normally after feeding once on human blood they can stay or live for one whole year. They attack on their prey normally in dark. They become active one hour before the dawn. Their regular feeding cycle is from four to five days. And then they stay around for few months.

Do check for these bed bugs problem whenever you check in a hotel or motel. Do check them in the corners of mattresses, or below the mattresses, or in the edges of a bed, or in the sofas/chairs. Every place where a human resides in the hotel room premises. If you find any contact for a pest controller agent and ask him to operate on these bed bugs. Try to avoid such hotels where these bed bugs reside if you are a frequent visitor to that place. They might get carried to your household in your luggage without your knowledge.

If you stay in the hotels and feel itchy then come to know that bed bugs do exist in there. These bed bugs bites are itchier then the mosquito’s bites and they last for long hours. If you see two or three crawling on the floor then this is the indication that there are many in there. Normally they crawl on floor only when they are fighting for a single host.

The nights before you leave the hotel do spray anti bed bug spray on your luggage, which is easily available in the market. Don’t keep your clothes on the bed. Wipe the bathtub dry and keep your clothes on them. Bed bugs don’t live on the bathtub, as normally people don’t stay there. So bathtub is a safe place to keep your clothes. Check each and every thing while packing. Check out for any apple seeded shape creature crawling nearby. They are visible to the naked eye. By following these steps you can avoid bed bugs landing at your home.
